Bush Training Exercise on May 5-7, 2023

We are excited to announce an upcoming mandatory Bush Training Exercise that will take place on May 5-6-7 2023. This outdoor activity is a great opportunity for cadets of all levels to obtain their air cadet training qualification requirements.

During this weekend-long exercise, cadets will have the chance to experience a continuous 24-hour outdoor survival scenario. They will learn valuable skills such as building a shelter, making a fire, and preparing their food.

Each cadet will sleep outside in a shelter that they will learn how to build. We will provide all the necessary equipment to ensure a safe and comfortable experience. Please see the attached photo for the equipment required for the exercise.

We require all cadets to be at MVCC at 18:00 on Friday, May 5 with all their equipment and your FTU uniform. We expect to be back on Sunday, May 7 at 15:00.

The activity will be supervised by qualified adults who will be monitoring the safety and well-being of each cadet. We can't wait to see all our cadets at the Bush Training Exercise and we are confident that this will be an unforgettable experience for everyone. Get ready to learn, grow, and have some fun in the great outdoors!
